Kenya's victory in Harare last week has given the Shujaas a spot at the Paris 2024 Olympics.  That is a wonderful achievement. Yet it is now crucial for the Shujaas and the Kenya management team to focus on the long-term goals for the Kenya rugby 7s team.  The training camp preparations ahead of this tournament were longer and more thorough than in the recent past, this needs to continue.  The new head coach, Kevin Wambua and assistant coach and DBA Africa rugby Ambassador Andrew Amonde possess a wealth of experience and skills to strengthen the team.  The firm focus now must be on getting back on to the World 7s Series and most crucially, to stay there.  A lot of hard work remains ahead for the team and the management.
