DBA Africa is excited to announce a groundbreaking

DBA Africa is excited to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Wazi-Wazi, a Japanese social enterprise, to enhance youth rugby development in Nairobi, Kenya. This collaboration will rebrand our academy as the “DBA Wazi Wazi Rugby Academy,” offering training every Sunday at Kenton College. The partnership opens doors for our players and coaches to access scholarships, international training, and valuable coaching exchanges with Japan. We’re thrilled to be bridging the gap between Kenya and Japan through rugby and empowering the next generation of talent. #DBAWaziWazi #RugbyDevelopment #YouthEmpowerment

What an incredible weekend of rugby @kabrassugarrf

What an incredible weekend of rugby @kabrassugarrfc for the Futures Cup R2 in Western. A huge thank you to all involved at Kabras who went over and beyond to make it a seamless and hugely enjoyable event.

We saw Western Wanderers, Nyanza Hurricanes and Kampala Giants come together and play a triangular tournament.
Congratulations to our ‘Noisy Neighbors’ who showed outstanding skill, speed and IQ coming away with two from two wins.

Current Standings:
1st Kampala Giants
2nd Coastal Tsunami
3rd Western Wanderers
4th Nyanza Hurricanes
5th Central Avalanche
6th-8th TBC

The third and final R3 will be played in Nairobi on 8th December between Nairobi Bulldozers, Nairobi Hurricanes and the Rift Valley Lakers. Then not only will the overall standings be announced, but a Dream Team will be selected to tour Uganda next Easter 2025 to play Kampala Giants plus 2 other fixtures and participate masterclass training sessions.

In addition to R3 in Nairobi, we will also see our U15 girls participate for the first time in the Futures Cup along side the boys.

Another weekend incoming, another Futures Cup approaching.

What a day @sc_pirates on Sunday where we held our 1st of 3 Futures Cup tournaments.

Coastal Tsunami narrowly beat Central Avalanche twice during the day.

There was a great atmosphere and some brilliant rugby was played by both teams.
