Meet Our Team

Founder and Chief Operating Officer

Storm Trentham

Storm has been involved in international sport since 2000. She is a former Wales lacrosse player plus 3 time Head Coach & Manager of the U19 Wales World Cup Team. Storm then turned her attention to introducing lacrosse in Kenya, making history by taking the first female African lacrosse team to a World Championships in 2019 and again in 2022 with the Men’s team. Through her ties with sport and charity in Kenya since 2007, she witnessed endless sporting talent yet also a lack of support and opportunities. During Covid, she met international Kenyan athletes and heard about their situations on and off the pitch or track. It was from that day she started DBA Africa, to support athletes and bridge the gap between Africa and other top sporting nations.
