Kenya’s rising long-distance runner, Dennis Cheruiyot, aka "The Running Schoolboy," is set to compete in the 5000m at the 4th National Trials in Uganda this Saturday, April 12th, at Namboole National Stadium.

Dennis most recently ran an impressive PB of 14:45 at the BingwaFest race in Mombasa, despite only recently transitioning to 5km events. His progress has earned him recognition as one of Kenya’s most promising young talents.

Following a successful international trip in Dubai, including a 3rd place finish at the Buji2Buji Half Marathon, his first-ever international podium finish. Dennis is focused on continuing his upward trajectory. As he heads to Uganda for the National Trials, he’s determined to secure another strong finish and keep pushing his limits.
